Privacy and Cookies

What are cookies?

In order to comply with European Union directive on privacy and data protection in the electronic communication  we propose a short description about cookies function. A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. Cookies are useful because they allow websites not only to recognize a user's device, but also allow user to access features on the website.

Essentially, there are two types of cookies.

Persistent cookies – these cookies remain on a user's device for the period of time specified in the cookie. They are activated each time that the user visits the website that created that particular cookie.

Session cookies – these cookies allow website operators to link the actions of a user during a browser session. A browser session starts when a user opens the browser window and finishes when they close the browser window. Session cookies are created temporarily. Once you close the browser, all session cookies are deleted.

Also, some videos embedded in our pages use a cookie to anonymously gather statistics on how you got there and what videos you visited.
